The ideal candidate requires:

  • A Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, New Media, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • 1 - 2 years' postgraduate work experience preferably in online marketing or IT
  • Strong MS Excel, email and internet skills
  • Excellent numerical and quantitative ability
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Very good research and reporting skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team
  • The ability to follow-through and complete tasks
  • A highly driven and dedicated nature
  • A keen interest in working on the internet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Merchant analysis
  • Determining merchant's campaign strategy based on research conducted
  • Creating and setting-up the merchant's accounts according to procedures and best practice
  • Conducting keyword research and deciding which keywords to bid on
  • Uploading the merchant's campaign to the various search engines (Google, YSM, MSN) and verifying campaign and billing settings
  • Optimising campaigns through continuous monitoring and revision
  • Working within a specified budget
  • Submitting regular campaign reports
  • Building relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring comprehensive feedback is given to clients
  • Keeping updated on new developments in the industry.
